Why It Was Started
The idea for Travelers Karma came during a family trip to Disneyland. When we asked our hotel for dishwasher soap, we were told not to bother — “just leave them in the sink.” That moment revealed a gap: there was no system rewarding travelers who go above and beyond to respect the places they stay. It inspired a vision for a platform that values responsible guests, good travelers, and mutual respect between hosts and visitors.
Meet the Founder
My name is Casey Baker — a former Navy FMF Hospital Corpsman and Police Officer. I’ve dedicated my career to service and accountability, and those values are the backbone of Travelers Karma. Today, I serve as the Operations Manager for a non-profit supporting foster and adoptive families while leading Travelers Karma’s mission to make travel safer, fairer, and more transparent for everyone.

Our mission is to build a global culture of travel accountability and reliability.
Through the Travelers Reliability Rating System (TRRS), we’re creating a
unified framework that empowers hotels, hosts, and even rental car agencies to make
risk-informed decisions with confidence.
Our vision is to set a new industry standard — where trust isn’t assumed, it’s earned.
By bridging data, ethics, and innovation, Travelers Karma will change the way the world
defines and rewards good travelers.
